I began breeding dogs nearly 8 years ago. The first dog added to my home and family was a maltese named Gidget. She is just beautiful and has produced the cutest babies.
From there I added
Yorkies.
Rocky was my first Yorkshire Terrier. He was grand champion sired and from a kennel that also showed their dogs. Rocky has the best temperament and that is most important when you have other animals in the household.
In 2007 we added
Shih Tzus to our family. I have found them to be happy dogs that love people and get along with my existing 'kids' (dogs). Our first litter of Shih Tzus was born in December 2008.
We currently have
six Shih Tzu breeders and
four Yorkie breeders. All of the dogs are our pets; they live in our homes and have access to my yard. I have three granddaughters that love to come over and play with the "kids". I think the dogs need to be around both children and adults.
Finding a good home for one of my puppies is my highest priority. I love to send them home with the new owner smiling and excited to have a new "little one" in their arms. That is the best thank you I can ever receive!

As you know, Shih tzus are the breed I love the most. It has been a little challenging having two breeds at the same time. My daughter Monica has decided that she would like to now take on the Yorkie breeding. It has always been her favorite of the two breeds.
She now has Rocky, Chloe and Missy. Her first litter to be listed on my site is the Rocky/Missy litter born on July 6th. Because of this Monica will be the contact person for Yorkie puppies.
I do still have Zinni here with me but only one more litter and then she will be rehomed to my daughters.
I also have decided to not sell all of my puppies with the Limited AKC registration as I have in the past. Please see the Puppies pages to see whether or not they will be AKC registered or feel free to contact me with any questions about this!
I live in a small town named Rio Dell, California located in Humboldt County - deep in the heart of Redwood Country and the Eel River Valley. Our neighboring Northern California towns include Fortuna, Scotia, Ferndale, Hydesville, Carlotta, and Loleta.
Just a little further north near Humboldt Bay are the cities of Eureka, Arcata, and McKinleyville - to the south along Highway 101 you'll find Redcrest, Weott, Miranda, Redway, and Garberville along the Avenue of the Giants.
